Train with the Kobukan Kobudo Renmei – No Matter Where You Are
If you don’t live close enough to a Kobukan dojo or training group to train on a regular basis, there are multiple ways to be part of our global martial arts community, including training directly with Kancho or your Shibu-cho.
1️⃣ Train Online – Kobukan Online University & Live Zoom Classes
Distance is no longer a barrier to training. Through Kobukan Online University and live Zoom classes with Kancho Wright, you can train in authentic Ninpo and Jujutsu from anywhere in the world.

2️⃣ Attend Kobukan Events & Taikai
Even if you’re not near a dojo, you can still train in person through Kobukan Taikai and regional events. These events provide intensive training, rank testing, and a chance to connect with the Kobukan community.
Types of In-Person Events:
✔️ Kancho Wright’s Taikai – Train directly with Kancho at international seminars.
✔️ Shibu-cho Hosted Events – Learn from regional leaders who hold official Kobukan seminars and training camps.
3️⃣ Start a Kobukan Training Group in Your Area
If there is no Kobukan dojo near you, you don’t have to train alone! Many members have formed Kobukan training groups to practice together, refine techniques, and prepare for future rank advancement.

What is a Shibu?
To help provide greater support and training opportunities for Kobukan members worldwide, the Kobukan Kobudo Renmei has established regional headquarters (Shibu). These Shibu serve as local hubs to assist instructors and members, while all students still have direct access to Kancho’s guidance through seminars, events, and online training.
