The Ronin Passport is a unique benefit that allows members to visit and train at affiliated Kobukan groups, outside of their base school. This allows members to attend affiliated training groups up to 10/classes per year without a mat fee (for free). This allows us to better support members while traveling, as well as encourage an inclusive and family atmosphere.

The reality is, being a great martial artist doesn’t automatically mean we’re great at teaching and passing on what we want to share with our students. For this reason, in addition to technical aspects of Kobudo, our Leadership members have the option to learn methodologies of teaching martial arts using professional, safe, and effective strategies. This isn’t just a tool for dojo owners, but also assistants instructors and anyone aspiring to be a great teacher and/or leader.

With this, members are elligle to attend advanced training at Kobukan events.

Participate in monthly official Kobukan leadership calls. Learn what’s on the horizon and current events for the Kobukan Kobudo Renmei.

In addition to our Leadership Training, instructors have the option to be a part of our Dojo Masterclass. This training is geared towards instructors that want to take their dojo to a high-level, even as a full time instructor. This program is ran by Kyoshi Stuart Allison, who built his Ninpo school to the largest in the UK, with over 1,000 students.

Dojo and group leaders are elligible to participate as an affiliate in Kobukan equipment sales.

As an instructor for the Kobukan Kobudo Renmei, groups get their own sub-page on the area website, helping to more easily showcase their school, as well as receive leads for prospective local students.
